Principal Investment

It is CP Energy’s preferred strategy to provide strategic equity capital in transactions to which we have introduced our institutional partners.  We invest in energy assets using both our own resources and with third party provided capital. It is our belief that possession of a principal stake in a transaction assures our institutional partners that we share a unity interest with respect to any given opportunity and that we have incentive to identify, execute and manage investments in an intelligent and expeditious manner.

CP Energy will invest in power generation assets, electric transmission assets and gas pipeline assets.  CP Energy is currently negotiating the acquisition of two wind powered generation facilities, and its affiliate CCAG Equity Partners I, LLC recently acquired an interest in gas compression assets that serve two separate pipelines.
